Fulfillment Specialist – Surety and Bonding

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Fulfillment Specialist to join its risk business in Atlanta. The team supports clients' day-to-day surety and bonding needs by coordinating information between clients and underwriters, securing timely approvals and issuance, and ensuring accurate delivery of bonds. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clients' daily bonding needs, including receiving and reviewing bond requests and exchanging information with underwriters so that approvals, issuance and delivery happen on time.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and their underwriters to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Handle challenging issues and surety-related matters, using Client Advisory resources when needed.
• Manage administrative service delivery functions such as bond issuance, modifications, renewals and cancellations, invoicing, collections, electronic files and database management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong surety experience in a risk management or brokerage capacity.
• P&C license required, or ability to obtain one.
• Working knowledge of insurance coverages is a plus.
• CPCU, ARM or other insurance designations are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience handling complex surety/bonding requests and escalations with minimal oversight.
• Ability to coordinate with underwriters and internal stakeholders to drive timely outcomes.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented work.
• Analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
