Risk Summer Intern - College Program 2027

About the role

Marsh Re is seeking a Risk Summer Intern for its Broking team, part of the College Program 2027. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office, and is open to candidates interested in working in Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Morristown or New York. It is a feeder role for the Risk Analyst position, the entry point to the reinsurance broker career track.

Key responsibilities

• Support all account team members and contribute to strategic recommendations and problem solving for clients
• Develop a broad understanding of the environment in which the insured operates and the marketplace in which Marsh Re's transactions take place
• Assist the broking team with client and market research and financial analysis for current and prospective clients
• Build competencies through a curriculum focused on networking and collaboration

Required profile

• Fully matriculated student pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and continuously, without sponsorship now or in the future
• Relevant work experience is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work flexibly within multiple teams

The applicable hourly rate is $27.00-$29.00 depending on location. Applications are submitted online by October 31st, 2025, and reviewed on a rolling basis; first-round interviews are on-demand digital video interviews.
