Front-End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Front‑End Developer to turn design concepts into fast, accessible, mobile‑first websites for our agency’s growing roster of brands. The role is hybrid, based at our Maine headquarters with flexibility for remote work, and reports to the VP of Development.

Key responsibilities

• Convert Figma designs into clean HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
• Build custom WordPress themes using ACF and Gutenberg and bespoke Shopify Plus storefronts.
• Architect data layers, custom post types, metafield schemas and component systems to enable single‑source updates.
• Integrate third‑party services such as Recharge, CRM, marketing automation, Storefront API and analytics/tag stacks.
• Ensure performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) and security (Core Web Vitals) from the first line of code.
• Own QA, staging (Pantheon Multidev), cross‑browser/device testing and coordinated launches.

Required profile

• Strong front‑end builder with agency‑pace experience.
• Comfortable collaborating with UI designers, strategists and developers.
• Willingness to work on projects for national brands and financial institutions.
• Preferably located in New England or the broader Northeast for regular in‑person meetings.
