Front Desk Agent – Guest Services

About the role

The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, welcoming guests, handling smooth check‑ins and check‑outs, and ensuring every interaction feels effortless and inviting. You will work in a busy hospitality environment, supporting guests throughout their stay and keeping the front desk operations running like clockwork.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and manage all check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s management system.
• Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and special needs, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls, manage email inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, service‑oriented attitude.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel management software.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
