French Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a native‑level French teacher to join Coucou, a vibrant French language school for adults. You will deliver engaging, conversation‑focused lessons to learners both online and in our New York classroom, helping them build real‑world fluency and cultural confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French to adult learners across various formats – signature group classes, private lessons, conversation labs and workshops.
• Incorporate French culture, current events and everyday life into lessons to enrich the learning experience.
• Foster a warm, inclusive and motivating classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in French (first language).
• Strong command of English.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable and patient.
• Flexible schedule – at least two evenings per week plus occasional weekend hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• No prior teaching experience required – training will be provided.
