French Teacher – IB Middle Years & Diploma

About the role

Littleton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join Littleton High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The teacher will deliver French language instruction to students in grades 8‑12, supporting both the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with state standards and IB curriculum.
• Monitor student progress, adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and provide timely feedback.
• Utilize learning technologies and classroom resources to enhance student‑centered learning.
• Foster a culturally responsive classroom that reflects the district’s racial equity policies.
• Maintain classroom management strategies that ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.

Required profile

• Valid Colorado teaching license for French.
• Commitment to high expectations and culturally relevant instruction.
• Ability to support the district’s Educational Racial Equity Policy.
• Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.

Required skills

• Fluency in French and English.
• Knowledge of IB teaching frameworks (preferred).
• Proficiency with classroom technology and instructional materials.
