French Teacher (2026-27)

About the role

This full‑time position is for a French teacher covering middle and high school grades for the 2026‑27 academic year. The teacher will deliver curriculum‑aligned instruction, foster student growth, and support the school’s strategic values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons that meet state Standards of Learning and grade‑level objectives.
• Develop and adapt instructional materials, including technology resources, to suit diverse learner needs.
• Assess student performance using varied evaluation strategies and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, and participate in professional development.
• Uphold the school’s values of Individualism, Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and appropriate state certification for teaching French.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the French language curriculum and state standards.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and ethical practice.
