French Bilingual Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

Fiserv is seeking a French‑English bilingual Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate merchant portfolios, identify fraud and credit risk, and help protect both clients and the company from financial loss. The role works closely with Funding, Legal, Operations, and Client Services teams to investigate suspicious activity and recommend mitigation actions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and investigate merchant accounts to assess fraud and credit risk exposure across assigned portfolios.
• Make timely decisions on cases requiring deeper investigation, identifying emerging fraud trends.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and fraud remediation efforts with internal partners.
• Communicate high‑risk activity, recommendations, and required actions to stakeholders.
• Analyze financial metrics such as processing volume, collateral needs, and potential loss exposure.
• Negotiate collateral requirements and restructuring terms within risk guidelines.
• Resolve merchant inquiries through outbound and scheduled calls, documenting outcomes.
• Complete special projects and ad‑hoc analyses to support risk initiatives and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• 3+ years of experience in financial services, payments, or a related environment with exposure to fraud, risk, or credit decisioning.
• 2+ years of customer‑service or client‑facing experience handling complex situations.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, criminal justice, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
