Freelance Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced freelance mobile app developers to work on the Tendem project. This part‑time remote position involves building native and cross‑platform applications for iOS and Android, delivering stable, performant, and user‑friendly solutions for a variety of real‑world use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Create responsive UIs that follow iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Integrate native device features such as camera, push notifications, location, storage, and biometrics.
• Connect apps to backend APIs, manage offline state, caching, and data synchronization.
• Implement monetization options like in‑app purchases, ads, and subscriptions.
• Debug platform‑specific issues, optimize performance and battery usage, and prepare builds for TestFlight and Google Play Console.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
• Proven ability to ship production‑ready iOS and/or Android applications.
• Strong attention to detail, performance awareness, and ability to work independently.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with at least one of: React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Deep understanding of mobile UI patterns, navigation, and state management.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with native device APIs (notifications, camera, location, storage, biometrics).
