FP&A Technology Senior Specialist

About the role

The FP&A Technology Senior Specialist will support the SAC-P Center of Excellence within Merck's Global Business Solutions organization, ensuring accurate and timely planning data across systems throughout the forecasting cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAC planning workstreams, aligning them with project objectives, timelines, and business priorities.
• Design, support, and implement SAC data models, import and live connections to SAP and non‑SAP sources, and allocation logic for workforce, OPEX and CAPEX modeling.
• Oversee daily HANA Studio operations, platform availability, performance optimization, and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain security and access controls, audit support, and compliance with segregation of duties.
• Develop operational runbooks, monitoring alerts, and identify automation opportunities to streamline support processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Computer Application.
• Minimum 4 years of FP&A and SAP Analytics Cloud Planning experience in large or complex environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• SAP Analytics Cloud Planning (SAC‑P) – design and implementation.
• SAP HANA Studio, SAP BW, Datasphere, ECC, and master data management.
• Data modeling, import and live connections, predictive analytics and forecasting.
• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
