FP&A Manager – Safety & Industrial Business Group

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for the Safety & Industrial Business Group (SIBG) at 3M will partner with global finance and operational leaders to drive the financial rhythm of the business. You will be a key member of the SIBG team, supporting strategic, operating and quarterly planning across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SIBG Channel Finance Leader to standardize and execute the financial operational cadence (strategic, operating, quarterly, monthly, weekly).
• Lead weekly sales and order forecasting, quarterly review preparation, operating and strategic planning for the Global Industrial Channel.
• Provide financial analytics for quarterly estimates, business reviews and connect operational actions to financial plans.
• Support budgeting and spend analysis for R&D, Marketing, Commercial Center and administrative functions.
• Drive gross‑to‑net sales and pricing analytics, and partner on new product introduction analysis.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and collaborate with corporate FP&A to improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting (completed before start date).
• Minimum seven (7) years of finance experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet conflicting deadlines.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to legal compliance.
