Founders Associate

About the role

The Founders Associate will work directly with the CTO of a fast‑growing blockchain‑enabled trading platform. This high‑trust position supports technical and operational priorities across a globally distributed engineering team, acting as a force multiplier for the CTO.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to drive execution on product, engineering, and company‑building initiatives.
• Prepare for stand‑ups, keep execution moving, and coordinate work across a ~25‑person dev team.
• Manage high‑priority projects and act as an organizational backbone for a fast‑moving technical group.
• Facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners as the company scales.
• Travel as needed for team meetings, conferences, and strategic priorities.
• Operate with a founder‑level ownership mindset in a high‑intensity environment.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation with a degree in math, computer science, physics, neuroscience, engineering, or a similarly rigorous field.
• Ability to earn respect from highly technical teammates from top trading, crypto, and engineering backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management instincts.
• Interest in finance, markets, startups, or technical company‑building.
• Comfortable with early starts, intensity, and a fast‑moving environment.
• Founder‑like mindset – capable of eventually leading a company.

Required skills
