Founders Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Founders Associate to work directly with our CTO, acting as a high‑trust, high‑responsibility partner in a fast‑scaling engineering organization. This role is not a generic assistant position; it requires technical fluency, strong judgment, and the ability to drive execution across product, engineering, and company‑building initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO as a force multiplier on technical and operational priorities.
• Prepare for stand‑ups and keep execution moving across a globally distributed engineering team.
• Drive high‑priority projects spanning product, engineering, and strategic initiatives.
• Serve as an organizational backbone for a fast‑moving technical team.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external touchpoints as the company scales.
• Travel as needed for team collaboration, conferences, and strategic priorities.
• Operate with a founder‑level ownership mindset in a low‑hand‑holding environment.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation with a degree in math, computer science, physics, neuroscience, engineering, or a similarly rigorous field.
• Ability to earn respect of highly technical teammates from top trading, crypto, and engineering backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management instincts.
• Interest in finance, markets, startups, or technical company‑building.
• Comfortable with intensity, early starts, and a fast‑moving environment.
• Founder‑like mindset – capable of starting a company but choosing to build alongside an exceptional CTO.

Required skills
