About the role
R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Forklift Mechanics at our Louisville, KY Service Center. The role involves rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
- Create and manage repair work orders using computer systems.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
Required profile
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years.
- At least 3 years of experience with industrial forklift repair and maintenance.
- Ability to lift 100‑125 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Own tools on site (company provides specialized tools).
Required skills
- Industrial forklift repair and maintenance.
- Electric and manual pallet jack repair.
- Aerial lift repair (preferred).
- Computer work order creation.
What we offer
- Pay up to $37.25 per hour.
- Full‑time schedule Monday‑Friday with various shifts.
- One week of vacation after 90 days of employment.
