Forensic Statewide Clinical Coordinator

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Forensic Statewide Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical oversight, compliance, and operational effectiveness for forensic Community Integration Homes (CIHs) and forensic apartments across the state. The role is remote with 50% statewide travel and reports to the Forensic Housing Administrator.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, intake assessments, and discharge planning for forensic CIHs and apartments.
• Attend monthly clinical meetings and monitor resident behavior reports, escalating risks as needed.
• Conduct bi‑monthly site visits to CIHs and bi‑annual visits to forensic apartments to ensure safety, compliance, and quality of care.
• Perform annual risk assessments and support performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Train staff on standard operating procedures, DBHDD policies, emergency preparedness, and individualized recovery plans.
• Audit client records, verify documentation accuracy, and ensure treatment plans are properly implemented.

Required profile

• Experience in clinical coordination within forensic or behavioral health settings.
• Ability to travel statewide (approximately 50% of time) and work remotely.
• Knowledge of DBHDD policies, quality assurance processes, and risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
