Food Service Worker – Trayline (Full‑Time)

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Food Service Worker for the trayline in UHealth Tower. You will prepare and deliver patient meals, ensuring safety, sanitation, and excellent service for hospital patients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patient meals in a safe, sanitary manner following menu specifications.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces and dishroom areas.
• Perform patient room service, tray line duties, and deliver courtesy trays.
• Portion food accurately, break down equipment, and clean all pots and pans.
• Adhere to University policies, CICARE and ACT standards, and protect University assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant food service experience.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Commitment to confidentiality and University core values.
