Food Service Worker – Full & Part Time

About the role

Fresh Ideas Management is seeking enthusiastic Food Service Workers for both full‑time and part‑time schedules at Louisiana Christian University. You will join a dynamic team that values creativity, teamwork, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, present, and serve food according to approved recipes and portion standards.
• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
• Transport pans, kettles, and trays safely between work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store food following wrapping, dating, rotation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Serve customers courteously and resolve any concerns.
• Follow company service standards, inventory, cash control, and sanitation policies.

Required profile

• Preferred minimum of 1 year prior food‑service experience.
• Availability for Monday‑Friday (10 am‑2 pm or 4 pm‑9 pm) and weekend shifts (10 am‑2 pm or 4 pm‑7 pm).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
