Floating Community Manager - Lease-Up

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Floating Community Manager – Lease‑Up to oversee day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property. The role combines leadership of on‑site staff with financial and leasing responsibilities to meet budgeted goals and ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by reviewing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing bank deposits and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Manage expenditures within approved budgets and oversee petty‑cash fund.
• Direct lease enforcement: approve applications, discounts, renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, process evictions and collect late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to create short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies that drive occupancy and revenue.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily property operations, including budgeting, leasing and vendor oversight.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multifamily regulations.
• Ability to interpret financial data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
