Floating Community Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Floating Community Manager to oversee daily operations of an assigned multifamily property. The role combines budget management, lease administration, vendor coordination, and compliance oversight to ensure the property meets financial and operational targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by reviewing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue goals by setting rent rates, collecting payments, processing deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and liaise between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Maintain expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue objectives.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management or community operations.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze budgets and reports.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and owners.
