About the role

The Floating Assistant Community Manager supports Greystar’s on‑site Community Managers across multiple residential properties in Hudson County. This dynamic position ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations, enhances resident experience, and helps drive the overall performance of the communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily community operations, including maintenance oversight, vendor coordination, and compliance with company policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and organizing community events.
• Support leasing activities by conducting tours, processing applications, and managing lease documentation.
• Help with financial tasks such as rent collection, budget tracking, and expense reporting in collaboration with accounting.
• Perform regular property inspections to ensure standards are met and safety issues are addressed.
• Handle administrative duties like phone and email correspondence, record‑keeping, and preparation of reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Real Estate License (required).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to learn community specifics quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and geographic scope.
