Flight Guidance Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑critical automated aviation technology to enable uncrewed aircraft in the National Airspace System. As a Flight Guidance Engineer you will join the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team to design, implement, and test the flight guidance system.

Key responsibilities

• Define guidance system capabilities and requirements in collaboration with operations and pilot teams.
• Design and integrate guidance features with flight control systems and pilot displays.
• Implement flight guidance algorithms in simulation and flight software.
• Reduce and analyze simulation, lab, and flight test data to evaluate system performance.
• Validate guidance behavior through hardware‑in‑loop and flight test cases.

Required profile

• BS in aerospace, electrical, computer science or related field; MS or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years experience developing real‑time guidance or motion‑planning algorithms.
• Professional C/C++ and Python development experience.
• Strong ability to communicate system behavior to end users.
