Flex Team Technician – Bakery

About the role

The Flex Team Technician – Bakery is a field‑based position that ensures operational excellence across multiple bakery sites. You will combine technical precision with autonomous execution to drive efficiency, reliability and high‑quality product output.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured operational audits and deliver compliance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Rapidly assess, triage and resolve technical issues; perform root‑cause analysis for systemic problems.
• Install, upgrade and configure bakery equipment, validating performance and integration.
• Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to pilot improvements.
• Maintain accurate logs, issue documentation and weekly KPI‑based summaries.
• Provide cross‑site support across multiple markets, adapting to varying conditions and team dynamics.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of technical or operational experience in food service, retail or process engineering.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in cold/freezer environments.
• Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel long distances and occasional overnight or weekend work.
• Effective communication skills; bilingual (English + second language) preferred.
• At least 21 years old and adequate vision for operating standard tools.
