Fleet Transporter – Full‑time

About the role

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a full‑time Fleet Transporter to move straight trucks and vans between Customer Service/Distribution Centers, dealerships, and the yard. The role also supports inventory and parts control as well as general facility functions, offering a chance to develop customer service skills within the furniture retail industry.

Key responsibilities

• Shift vehicles in the yard when needed.
• Manage inventory and parts control, including ordering and picking up parts.
• Visually inspect waste‑oil and fuel tanks.
• Assist with yard checks of fleet vehicles.
• Maintain accurate logs for all trucks and vans moved.
• Perform light‑duty repairs such as changing light bulbs and wipers.
• Audit and close repair orders in the computer tracking system.
• Provide general facility support functions.

Required profile

• Clean driving record with at least two years accident‑free.
• Pass all DOT pre‑employment criteria, hair‑follicle drug test, and criminal background check.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan’s safety policies and procedures.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Light‑duty vehicle maintenance (e.g., bulb and wiper replacement).
• Basic use of a computer tracking system for repair orders.
• Inventory and parts handling.
• Safe operation of trucks and vans.
