Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate supports production and distribution operations by receiving and organizing products, pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials, and staging finished products for delivery. Installers rely on the associate to ensure all required materials are accurately prepared, well organized, and easily accessible, while also maintaining adequate inventory levels of finishing products and trim.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by labeling, placing, and recording the location of materials and supplies.
• Load trucks within 15 minutes per truck, ensuring the right products are loaded accurately and on time.
• Pull and verify materials listed on production orders and job material sheets.
• Receive shipments, inspect products, and coordinate with the Production Manager on any missing or damaged items.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the warehouse area and equipment, including forklifts, trucks, and tools.
• Monitor inventory of finishing materials such as sealants and trim.
• Participate in 5S initiatives to keep the warehouse orderly and efficient.

Required profile

• Valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to maintain a DOT card.
• Physical ability to lift 50‑75 lb, stand for prolonged periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, highly organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and follow company processes and procedures.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (or willingness to learn).
• Inventory control and knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology.
