Fleet Transporter – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Fleet Transporter to support the movement and upkeep of our straight trucks and vans across customer service, distribution, and dealership locations. The role works Monday-Friday, 7 am‑3:30 pm, providing essential yard, inventory and facility assistance while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver straight trucks and vans to Customer Service/Distribution Centers and dealerships.
• Act as yard shifter and assist with yard checks of fleet vehicles.
• Control inventory and parts, order and retrieve parts as needed.
• Visually inspect waste‑oil and fuel tanks and perform light‑duty repairs such as changing bulbs and wipers.
• Maintain accurate logs for all vehicle movements and audit/close repair orders in the computer tracking system.
• Provide general facility support functions and perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Clean driving record with at least two years accident‑free driving.
• Pass all DOT pre‑employment requirements, hair‑follicle drug test and background check.
• Positive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to company safety policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Commercial vehicle driving and safe operation.
• Vehicle inspection and light‑duty maintenance.
• Inventory and parts control.
• Use of computer tracking systems for repair order management.
