Firmware Engineer – Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a Firmware Engineer at Senior Associate level to support clients in optimizing product development and manufacturing processes. The role combines embedded firmware expertise with operational consulting to help clients accelerate time‑to‑market, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client product development lifecycles and identify firmware‑related bottlenecks.
• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for IoT and real‑time systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and supply‑chain teams in cross‑functional product development environments.
• Apply structured development processes, quality standards, and tools such as JIRA.
• Participate in Agile project management activities and deliver technical recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on embedded firmware development experience.
• Experience contributing to embedded or IoT product development projects.
• Familiarity with real‑time or resource‑constrained firmware environments.
• Experience working in Agile or similar project‑management settings.
