Fire Science Faculty (Full‑Time)

About the role
The Lone Star College‑Kingwood campus is seeking a full‑time Faculty member in Fire Science. The successful candidate will join a diverse academic team and deliver high‑quality instruction to support student success and community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate fire science courses in alignment with college curriculum standards.
- Facilitate classroom and laboratory learning experiences that meet course objectives.
- Engage in professional development activities and stay current with fire science research and industry practices.
- Contribute to departmental and college service, including curriculum committees, student advising, and community outreach.
Required profile
- Commitment to Lone Star College’s mission and core values, including integrity, respect, and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a diverse faculty and student body.
- Experience in higher‑education teaching or equivalent professional experience in fire science.
