Finisher II – Precision Aerospace Component Finishing

About the role

Moog is seeking a Finisher II to perform critical finishing operations on precision aerospace components in Buffalo, NY. The role ensures parts meet quality, safety, and performance standards before inspection and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components.
• Inspect finished parts for defects or irregularities that could affect performance or compliance.
• Prepare components for the next production stage by cleaning and ensuring they are safe for inspection, assembly, or shipment.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of related experience in deburring or finishing within a machine shop environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Required skills

• Deburring and finishing techniques.
• Inspection of machined components for quality compliance.
• Ability to read and follow technical work instructions.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $23.00–$28.00 with 10% shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.
