Finisher I – 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

About the role

Moog is seeking a Finisher I to support 3rd‑shift operations in its Military Aircraft Group in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on removing burrs and surface imperfections from precision aerospace components, ensuring they meet strict quality and safety standards before inspection and assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components.
• Inspect finished parts for defects that could affect performance or compliance with specifications.
• Prepare components for the next production stage, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for inspection, assembly, or shipment.
• Support product durability by ensuring proper finishing before inspection.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) or equivalent ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• At least 3 months of experience in deburring or finishing within a machine shop environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Eligibility and willingness to enroll in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
