Financial Planning & Analysis Lead

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead will partner with multiple departments to develop, prepare, and analyze internal financial reporting for Northwest. This role drives the annual budgeting process, long‑term strategic planning, and profitability analysis across the bank’s lines of business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, including data gathering, timeline creation, and presentation to senior leadership.
• Prepare and analyze budget metrics such as loan/deposit growth, yields, and variance analysis for Board approval.
• Build and enhance profitability reports for Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending, and other units.
• Coordinate balance‑sheet and income‑statement analysis and lead review meetings with senior management.
• Maintain documentation of budgeting and profitability processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in accounting, finance, and banking, with a focus on budgeting and profitability reporting.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively, present findings clearly, and make analytical decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of core financial systems and general ledger platforms.
• Experience using budget financial planning software.
