Financial Controller – Operations (Revenue $50M+)

About the role

Gate Gourmet is seeking an Operations Controller to lead financial reporting, analysis and control for a business unit generating over $50 million in revenue. The role partners with unit managers to drive budgeting, forecasting and profitability while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end, budget and interim forecast reporting for the assigned unit.
• Ensure adherence to corporate finance policies, identify control weaknesses and implement cost‑control initiatives.
• Test internal controls across accounts payable, billing, payroll, and general ledger processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for material and labour costs, analyse financial trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Support pricing proposals and profit‑and‑loss analysis for customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, controlling or cash management.
• Broad knowledge of financial processes and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to present data accurately and influence stakeholders.
