Financial Controller – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the organization’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting to senior management, the role supports strategic decision‑making through detailed financial analysis and cash‑flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations and ensure consistent recording of transactions.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, producing management reports and performance dashboards.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow and other key financial indicators, providing insights to management.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, resolve audit findings and maintain statutory financial records.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working‑capital requirements, banking relationships and payment processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and lead the ERP‑NetSuite implementation or upgrades.
• Supervise and develop the accounting and finance team, establishing clear responsibilities and performance expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Required skills

• NetSuite ERP implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
