Financial Controller – CPA Preferred, Bilingual English/Spanish

About the role

We are a profitable, growing Miami‑based company seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This hands‑on, full‑time role will manage monthly closes, financial statements, lender reporting, and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, variance analysis, and working capital management.
• Serve as primary contact for investor and debt reporting, monitoring loan covenants.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Active CPA license (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Based in Medley, Miami or South Florida.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including prior Controller role.
• Proven experience closing monthly books and working with lenders.
