Financial Analyst – UHealth Management Reporting

About the role

The University of Miami's UHealth Finance Department is seeking a full‑time Analyst to support management reporting. You will collect, monitor, and analyze financial data, preparing reports and presentations that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare regular and special financial reports for multiple departments.
• Analyze monthly budgeting and accounting data to maintain expenditure controls.
• Identify trends, competitive developments, and make recommendations to senior management.
• Review operating budgets, detect control deficiencies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as liaison with other departments, vendors, and external parties to complete assignments.
• Support internal control oversight and safeguard university assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in financial analysis or reporting.
• Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
• Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
