Financial Analyst - Program Budgets (USPACOM, Camp Smith, HI)

About the role

Amentum is sourcing a Financial Analyst with at least five years of related experience in finance and/or budgeting to analyze and forecast data on program budgets in support of USPACOM at Camp Smith, Hawaii. The role involves tracking program-level financial data, supporting month-end close and invoicing, and ensuring compliance with government contracting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Multi-task and track all program-level financial data
• Support month-end close and invoicing, including reconciliation of projects and accounts and analysis of monthly financial data
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, the JTR, FAR and DSSR
• Lead detailed financial reviews with program management
• Maintain financial databases and spreadsheets and generate financial reports
• Track expenses, process invoices, monitor budgets and keep financial records
• Work with Program Management and Contracts to meet customer deliverables on time
• Identify and escalate issues to financial management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent education, training or experience
• At least 5 years of finance experience, including government contracting across multiple contract types (FFP, CPAF, T&M)
• Experience reviewing and approving travel expenses under the JTR
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
• Preferred: understanding of cost review, account reconciliation and adjustments
