Financial Analyst – FP&A

About the role

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Minneapolis. The role will support corporate budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and provide strategic financial partnership to regional and executive leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial partner for region, sector, and shared‑services teams, delivering financial models and insights.
• Drive the annual budgeting process and contribute to long‑range planning updates.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, conduct variance analysis, and identify profit drivers.
• Monitor and analyze business‑unit expense files, communicating material variances.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Design and deliver dynamic ad‑hoc reports and visual presentations for leadership.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis with solid GAAP knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Solution‑oriented mindset, high curiosity, and initiative to drive end‑to‑end improvements.
• Ability to communicate strategically and act with urgency in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Enterprise systems experience (Oracle Hyperion PBCS, JD Edwards, SAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint.
