Financial Analyst 2 – Full‑time – Miami, FL

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full‑time Financial Analyst 2 to support Auxiliary Services. The analyst will compile, analyze, and present financial information to aid strategic decision‑making and operational planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate documentation for budgets, forecasts, expense performance, and presentations.
• Identify trends in competitive environments and present findings.
• Provide analytical support for forward‑looking financial and business projects.
• Perform financial forecasting, account reconciliation, and monthly close activities.
• Design and build financial models for growth, expansion, and scenario analysis.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and productivity analyses.
• Collect, interpret, and analyze relevant data to support business decisions and strategic plans.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Support the Director of Finance and senior analysts with accounting and reporting functions.

Required profile

• Current staff, faculty, or temporary employee of the University of Miami may apply via internal Workday process.
• Demonstrated ability to compile and analyze financial information accurately.
• Experience presenting financial reports in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to university policies and procedures.
