About the role

The University of Miami’s UHealth system is seeking a full‑time Analyst to support finance transformation initiatives across the central finance function. The role focuses on improving finance processes, managing projects, and ensuring effective use of financial systems and tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with finance teams to identify improvement opportunities and define project scopes.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust scope or timelines as needed, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to select project team members, provide training, and assign tasks.
  • Review work quality regularly to meet project standards.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
  • Proven problem‑recognition, analysis, and solution skills.
