Finance & Business Services Analyst II

About the role

The Finance & Business Services Analyst II provides accounting and business support to designated units within Texas A&M University Procurement Services, while managing the AggieBuy/JAGGAER system to ensure efficient e‑commerce and procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the AggieBuy/JAGGAER system to optimize ROI and ensure smooth workflow across requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and system error resolution.
• Provide help‑desk support to departmental users, back‑office staff and suppliers across the 21 TAMU members, handling inquiries and training on system use.
• Review new JAGGAER features, present them to Procurement Services staff and demonstrate usage.
• Identify, prepare and submit feature requests to enhance the client portal functionality.
• Collaborate with buyers and key suppliers to expand digital catalog content (punch‑out/hosted) for users.
• Oversee e‑commerce activities for all TAMU system members and advise Procurement and Contract Administration leaders.
• Develop and deliver custom reports and dashboards that provide spending and transactional insights.
• Perform accounting tasks such as preparing, reviewing, and auditing financial entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting external reporting and budgeting processes.

Required profile

• Experience with enterprise procurement or e‑commerce systems, preferably JAGGAER/AggieBuy.
• Strong analytical abilities to audit, reconcile and report financial data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while supporting multiple internal stakeholders.
