Field Service Technician - Infusion Pumps, Nashville, TN

About the role

IQVIA's Field Service Technician in Nashville, TN works with healthcare professionals and leads technical initiatives in medical device technology. The technician installs, updates and performs preventative maintenance on infusion pumps used in hospitals across the United States, while delivering strong customer service. The schedule is assignment-based, with a 40-hour commitment per week and overtime as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
• Organize, test and update medical devices, and install and configure hardware, software and network products.
• Carry out routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
• Complete other duties at the discretion of management.

Required profile

• Biomedical degree and/or equivalent biomedical medical experience with medical devices or equipment is a must.
• Associate degree, equivalent military training, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience (3-5 years of field experience).
• Active, unrestricted driver's license and a personal vehicle in good running condition for local work.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing, including proof of vaccination status.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues and closeouts remotely across multiple software programs.
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote) is beneficial.
• Strong time management, organization and communication skills.
