Field Service Software Engineer

About the role

The Field Service Software Engineer supports installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software components in Artidis systems, ensuring reliable performance in field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote software support for deployed Artidis devices.
• Diagnose, reproduce, and analyse software issues, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain service‑related tools, scripts, and minor patches.
• Coordinate with European headquarters on software releases and troubleshooting practices.
• Document technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and service records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with software debugging, root‑cause analysis, and version control systems.
• Knowledge of medical device quality and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently in the field.

Required skills

• Qt/C++ and QML programming.
• Git version control.
