About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s field team in Roseburg, OR, as a Field Service Professional/Electrician. You will install, service, and troubleshoot cutting‑edge smart‑home technology while offering customers tailored upgrades that enhance safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test security cameras, smart locks, and home automation devices at customer residences.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on‑site, ensuring reliable system performance.
• Assess each home’s needs and recommend additional equipment or service plans, driving consultative sales.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, best practices, and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols, including proper use of an Oregon LEA electrical license.

Required profile

• Possession of a valid Oregon LEA electrical license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional, trustworthy demeanor.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑changing smart‑home environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule of appointments.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Smart lock installation and configuration.
• Home automation system setup and troubleshooting.
• Basic electrical work compliant with LEA licensing requirements.
