Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the face of the company delivering cutting‑edge smart‑home technology to residential customers in the Silver Spring area. You will combine technical installation expertise with consultative sales to ensure homes are safe, connected, and energy‑efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security and energy savings.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong communication and integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical skills on the job and pursue career growth within a national organization.
