Field Service Professional – Smart Home Tech

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home’s growing team as a Field Service Professional in Grand Rapids, MI. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and helping customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service upgrades.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for security and convenience.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, sales, and service calls.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn technical skills and grow within a national organization.
