Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

As a Field Service Professional you will be the face of Vivint Smart Home, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology in residential customers’ homes while identifying opportunities to sell upgraded solutions that enhance safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks and home automation systems.
• Assess customers’ homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on how to operate their new smart home system.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and sales activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction or solar is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a national organization.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Installation and troubleshooting of home automation systems.
