Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs cutting‑edge smart home technology and helps customers upgrade to safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements to increase security and convenience.
• Educate homeowners on the operation of their new smart home system, ensuring confidence and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, sales, and service calls.

Required profile

• Strong sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn through paid training and ongoing coaching.
