Field Service Professional

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, as a Field Service Professional to install, service, and support industry‑leading smart home technology. You will work independently while staying connected to a supportive team, delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat, automation systems, cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Conduct onsite evaluations, recommend upgrades and generate sales through uncapped commissions.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background, drug test and licensing requirements.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail.

Required skills

• Installation and servicing of smart home security systems.
• Installation of thermostats, automation devices, cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshooting of smart home technology.
