Field Service Engineer - Medical Imaging (Northwest)

About the role
You will be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites nationally. The ideal candidate will be based in the Northwest (Northern California, Washington or Oregon) and travel extensively across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by setting clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Build strong customer relationships while contributing to service revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the regional team to improve processes, identify training gaps, and share best practices.
- Complete all required administrative and compliance tasks, including accurate documentation of timesheets, work orders, expense reports, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, and network‑related system issues, perform preventative maintenance, field changes, installations, and corrective service within required timeframes.
- Travel extensively (approximately 90% of the time) with overnight stays and air travel as needed.
Required profile
- 1+ years of diagnostic imaging service experience (field or hospital) or 3+ years in an electromechanical service environment.
- Experience with diagnostic X‑Ray, Cath Lab, or Image‑Guided therapy equipment is preferred.
- Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Ability to meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of a field service role, including extensive travel.
