Field Service Engineer – Austin/San Antonio, TX Area

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Engineer to provide exceptional customer service by installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites across the Austin and San Antonio area.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site service, adhering to customer entitlements, setting expectations, and meeting arrival commitments.
• Perform installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical issues.
• Complete all required documentation, including timesheets, work orders, expense reports, and regulatory paperwork.
• Travel up to 70% of the time, with average daily driving of 1‑4 hours and occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, on‑call, and extra hours as needed.
• Willingness to work in hospital/healthcare environments and safely handle radiation sources.
