Field Sales and Marketing Representative - Detroit

About the role

TTI (Techtronic Industries), a maker of power tools, outdoor power equipment and floor care products, is hiring a Field Sales and Marketing Representative in Detroit, MI. The role supports TTI's presence in The Home Depot, driving market share growth and helping maintain its product lines there. It involves hands-on merchandising, sales analytics and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class business-to-consumer sales and customer service at The Home Depot, recommending tailored product solutions
• Plan and run promotional events, product demos and store walks
• Support corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotional activities
• Manage merchandising, product placement, store resets and inventory levels, using Microsoft Power BI data analytics
• Build relationships with The Home Depot team members and transport a small amount of company property
• Travel to and from store locations, including occasional air travel, and lift and carry tools up to 50 lbs

Required profile

• At least 21 years old, eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Valid U.S. driver's license for at least one full year, personal vehicle and insurance naming you as primary driver
• Ability to pass drug and motor vehicle report screening
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, stand for shifts and handle physical demands
• Self-motivated, organized, able to work in a retail environment full time
• Formal higher education preferred but not required; multilingual ability preferred in some markets

What we offer

• Non-exempt salary of $24.04-$25.96 per hour (target annual salary $50,000-$54,000)
